Alternator not charging

I have a 1990 grand marquis. Have replaced the
alternator and battery. Have continuity to
everything it needs. But it won't charge the
alternator. Am getting 11- 12 volts running and off.
Anything helps.

Check for burnt fuseable link wire going to alternator or check for blown alternator fuse

This is a question for you guys I had switch from the 65amp 3 wire alt and i upgraded to a 100amp 2 wire alt and don't no how to wire it up bye the way it's a 1990 Mercury grand marquis and were is the voltage regulator located
