The mechanical sending unit in the gas tank will be the same as other vehicles of that era with conventional gas gauges. I'd check that first. If that's ok check the signal going to the instrument cluster. If that's ok, the wiring is good and you'll need to send the instrument cluster out for repairs. Having a factory shop manual will be very helpful too. Try Ebay or Faxon Auto Literature in Riverside CA. Hope that helps! Jim
