a 99 will have an electronic tranny, so no kickdown, the tranny you have is not an electronic, now it may bolt up and it might shift but there will be no kickdown for passing and you could also experience stacked shifting, so the tranny will be in high gear at 15 to 20 mph, and that makes for a very poor performing vehicle. You will have a continuous check engine light that wont go away. My advise is don't use it get the right one for your vehicle, or have your stock one rebuilt.
