I have a 2000 mc grand marquis and interior dome light stays on while all doors are close.please help.

I had this problem. Right after you close the door the light dims out. Then the keypad will light up and it will start all over again. If this is what happens problem ks likely something with the keypad.

I took the overhead light out, didn't know about the floor lights. If I take them out will it take care of the problem??Do I need to get a new LCM ?

Looked out in the carport and the lights were on, then went off. They kept doing this until I switched the lights to manual. However, the interior lights kept doing the same.

I own a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Sedan 4-Door 4.6L 281Cu. In. V8 FLEX SOHC Naturally Aspirated car. The problem i have encountered at first was intermittent then worked while raining then completely stopped. My car has a dealer alarm installed. The entry keypad, door locks, trunk lock, dome light, rear defogger and the radio delay. What i mean by radio delay is when the car is turned off the radio will remain playing till a door is opened. The before mention does not work with remote control or manually . Yes i have changed the battery in remote yes i have tried to reset the system...
