The automatic headlight switch quit working. They still work manually. This car does not have th drl feature & a fuse for autolamp is not specified. How should I proceed to determine the problem? Thx

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The light/buzzer for seatbelts went out at the same time as the autolamp switch. Not sure if that is just coincedence. I looked thru the manual and found nothing specific that leads me to that individual fuse or relay.. Stumped :(

Mike, I looked around and came up empty. The "eye" is not covered, right? As far as the seat belt buzzer, I would take it out of my car and smash it with a hammer if it was legal to do so, but alas, not. Personally I would simply not worry about it, I would not spend a dime myself to fix auto headlights. Same scenario: I prefer to turn on and off the lights when I so desire...but I got to talking about myself here and not try to answer your question.. sorry 'bout that...I did find a fuse diagram and the two are not related in schematic on your car. The electronic 'eye' may have failed, that senses daylight.
