2019 Chevy Equinox won't crank over

Asked by Jan 29, 2019 at 01:30 PM about the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox

Question type: General

Pushed start button , all guages
dashboard audio, lights all came on but
engine would not crank over.  Next day
it was fine.  Dealership thought it was a
fluke.  Next day, same problem!

The car's too new to have problems like a bad battery or alternator. Check the battery cables to see if they're loose. Better yet, go back to the dealer and have him check. No matter what it is, you have a warranty, and that's what the dealer got paid for. A couple more trips like this and you can claim "Lemon Law," and they can replace the car.

Thank you the dealership has no idea and this never heard of this issue before they're gonna check further with corporate to see if they can figure it out

Just leased one have the same issue there going to disconnect the after market remote start then I'll drive it for a few days if it don't happen there going to put in a factory one ? Noticed when it happened the brake peddle felt stiff , the same thing happened after picking it up the second time told them they need to let it sit before trying it not just keep turning it on and off over and over I even told mechanic to take it home for a few days . He laughed my wife doesn't want it anymore.
