have tried everything but wont open. trunk button doesnt work,nor does key

The key is a direct mechanical connection, try holding down on the trunk lid as you turn the key, there maybe just enough tension on the latch to keep it from releasing, if that doesn't work then it's time for the pros to get involved, the back seat may have to be removed and some small get in the trunk and face a release from the inside, then proceed with repairs.

Lousy spell check, that's suppose to be force a release.

Just wanted to post diagram. You can check the fuse, hopefully you can check some of the wiring circuits?
