Misfire in spark plugs in 2004 Grand Marquis

I have a misfire in plug #8. (Per AutoZone) what
does this mean? And do I need to replace all?

check the coil, if its a coil-over-plug set up. as a rule replace all spark plugs at the same time

i had a #8 only misfire, replaced the plug, plug wire, coil, & injector and checked vacuum(steady and 24" mercury. have not checked compression on that cylinder, what have i missed? mercury grand marquis 4.6 liter engine. thanks
