"HOLD" light flashes

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start to drive my car for the first time in a couple hours, whenever my automatic switches from 1st to 2nd gear, the car kicks extremely hard.  I can feel a slight kick in higher gears but nothing compares to the kick from 1st to
2nd.  Sometimes it does not kick when I coast during the shift from 1st to 2nd.  Any time after this kick ouucrs, the hold light flashes on and off and as long as the hold light is flashing it still kicks.  Eventually after driving for about 15 min the car will drive normally. What's going on?

Mine stuck in the first gear. My speed sensor had broken and exposed me wires so I'm wondering if my transmission computer is burnt because the wires may have bridge. Give me an opinion of your way fixing this problem.
