Battery light on dashboard

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys
I am a proud owner of a Mazda 626 glx fs modelLast night
my battery light came on as I was driving. Luckily a
multimeter was available to check if the car was charging
of which it was not. Lights would drop voltage from 12+ to
around 10V. As I drive to a friends I git a pot hole and
everything came right. That makes me happy in thinking all
is well save for a loose connection. I then drove home
105km away no problems.
This morning it came on again as I drove to work and
switched off as I got to work which is 8km away.
Is there anyone with an electrical drawing for this car or
ideas on how to check and verify the whole system

Tom thanks for your response. I have since checked all cabling to and from alternator and am happy. I did not check battery and starter connections. I have just got home with no problems and on my way I passed through a garage which pointed at the alternator. Charging voltage is 13.6V they say it should be 14.2V. Am still investigating and will update any findings
