Mazda tribute issues

The hear shifter broke on my tribute we fixed it,
then took it for a test drive and the car just took
off and accelerated very fast without pushing the
gas hard. Then once it was parked it just revved up
all on its own really high

Check the accelerator cable under the engine cover, it could be getting caught or binding. Remove the cover for a couple days to see if it goes away.
