trans leak---

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

trans leak--on long drives--80 miles or so---shorter drives of 20 miles no leaks---seems to blow out underneath the battery and splashes around---is there some kind of relief valve on the trans?---only thing i did recently was change the battery-----belts were squealing etc.--had left the lights on--battery was old anyway---can anybody help?
