Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A couple of months ago I had the oil changed
because it was time and the valves was starting to
rattle. Not too long after the rattling noise came
back. Can you please tell me what causes this and
what can I do to get it corrected.

If there are a lot of miles on this engine, the valves may need to be adjusted. Also there may be a varnish build up due to lack of oil changes. There are additives you can put into the oil to help clean up sticky lifters, and have the valves adjusted.
