What would cause a gas gauge not to work? It
stays on E. Even when you put gas in it.

Maybe the sending unit in the tank is bad.

    The panel on my dash board says 100 miles to empty, I went to a store that's 1 mile from house, by the time i got home it showed i was at 60 miles to empty.
