My C10 69 gas gauge doesn't work right, one day is full tank and the next day is like 3/4. Any ideas?

check your wire to the sending unit? Maybe it has a bad connection somewhere along the way?

If sending unit wire checks out then could be float inside tank, they are known too corrode and or get stuck after years of use. I had a similar problem with my 69. Problem solved with new float. Good Luck!!
