1990 lincoln towncar running good but when you put it in drive it has no power?

has been sitting awhile replaced feul pump last year but it has no power? I let
it sit for tool long ran old gas out and put premium and changed the plugs.
runs better but no power when you put it in drive?

Put a good fuel system cleaner into the gas. I use Seafoam or Techron. If you have a lot of build up in the fuel system it might take two or more tanks to clean it out.
