Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What wires do i need to make the
motor run cause I got a car and the
whole harness was cut

1 Answer

The engine has it's own harness, just google "engine harness" for your year, make, and model. It has to be exactly right, even minor changes between years can make a harness incompatible. You're going to need a wiring schematic from a manual. Don't rely on internet pictures, get a manual. You can buy a print book or subscribe to either Haynes or Chiltons, the subscriptions have the added bonus of more photos in their write-ups. You can *try* and patch a harness back together, but that is not an easy task. If you can't source a factory replacement harness, you may want to look for a parts car or salvage yard harness, but that's a tall order as well.
