Yes. It's called EECIV (eek-4) (Electronic Engine Control - 4th Generation). You'll need a manual and a volt meter. The computer system will also do a Power Balance and wiggle test. I went to 5-day Ford Training on the EECIV and EECIII systems. EECV - the earliest version of OBDII was still in it's infancy the last time I went to a FoMoCo school. KOEO pass code: 111-10-111. KOER pass code: 40- 10-111. Sometimes there is no Dynamic Response test (code 10) in the KOER test. I could go on all night about this system. Are you having any concerns with this vehicle? Shoot, I still have the code reader - and the adapter to read Mazda codes of that era too!

do the paper clip trick it work's with 1991 Lincoln town car signature you can find info on how to do it on you-tube. how the paper clip trick works is that it tern the car computer onto self diagnose. your engine light will blink like mores code. the code will be in 2 digit numbers from 1 to 9. your first code shod be 11. 11 means computer check OK. if you need more info just Google (Lincoln town car paper clip trick) + (engine light code Lincoln) the Lincoln models stayed the same from 91 to 94 this method works with all models of that time also works with almost all ford and bmw models before 1995
