Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently had shocks on my 1997 Lincoln Continental replaced with a retro kit for new shocks. Now my power steering is out. Did shock replacement have anything to do with the steering?

I can't imagine how. But the technician who did the installation might have damaged something in the process. Have another mechanic review this to be certain. If so have firt mechanic I the error and pay the second mechanic's bill.
