My 99 Lincoln Towncars Air Condisioner is confused

My 99 Lincoln Towncars Air blows ice cold, tometimes hot air, sometimes fans don't blow at all, I never know if it's going to work or not, What can cause this radical behavier. Remember when it works it's ice cold.

your problem could be caused by a bad diverter. thats a part that changes air flow from heat to air conditioning to fresh air as you require or set. it appears that you is stuck on the a/c flow. a good way to check it is by changing the controls from a/c to heat to vent and see if there is any change in the air temp or air flow from floor to defrost etc.

Thank you for your answer, they think it may be the blower cause I replaced the relay swich. now it only blows when it wants to, never know if its going to come on or not.
