Tune up question

Asked by May 21, 2019 at 09:56 AM about the 2000 Lincoln Continental

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Lincoln Continental has 83,000
miles on it and I want to put it for sale. I want
to do a tune up before I list it. I changed the
oil yesterday and I’m going to replace all the
spark plugs today. Is there anything else I
should do as apart of the tune up? The air
filter is new as well. Thanks

It's nice that you're that conscientious, but I doubt a buyer will appreciate it. The car is nineteen years old and you'll spend more tuning it up than you'll add in a sale. Besides, telling a prospective buyer that you just did all this might lead him to suspect that there's more he'll have to worry about.
