Removing Subaru Outback center dash under radio/ac

Question type: Car Customization

So the center dash console that is underneath the
ac/radio and has usb ports and stuff like that
ALSO has a push/release cover. I somehow
managed to get my ID between the cover and
whatever is behind it. how can i remove this lid
thing to get my id? should i just take it in?

Did you get an answer? I lost my handicap card in that slot on my outback.

I’m having the same problem not being able to open that compartment. Anyone find a solution?
