Lincoln Ls 2005 overheating problem

Asked by Mar 17, 2018 at 10:18 PM about the 2005 Lincoln LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I don’t know what it’s leaking but it’s
leaking from the bottom hose on the left
side the 2 close to the top a/c has never
worked or heater (we’ve had it for a year)
but it’s leaking something fierce. The car
starts over heating about 30 seconds to a
minute of driving it. Pretty sure it’s not the
head gasket cuz the oil doesn’t look like
chocolate milk but I’m not sure.

Have the A/C inspected and recharged. Low coolant level will cause an overheat issue. Have that looked at while you have it in the garage as well. The leak doesn't look like coolant. Hard to tell, but those lines look like refrigerant lines for the A/C that go to the condenser.
