I will guess automatic? how do you get rolling? My tranny acted up, they told me $1500 or more. (I had salt water get into it..dont ask) Untill it gives out all the way I will just keep adding tranny fix to it. Lucas oil ($10) seems to have done the trick so far. one month. But to be honest I dont drive that far at any one time and very rarely on the freeway. Use a rubber hose (got one from Lowes clear about 4 ft) siphon out just enough so you can add the other fluid. Let the truck run and get warm, but low on fluid do not run through the gear after 10-15 minutes SLOWLY add the lucas fluid up to have while it is running. if you removed enough and you have half a container left (truck still running) run it through the gears. Check the fluid level add just enough to top up . Run through gears again check level, go for a short drive, stop and go pull in reverse all the gears? check level top off if needed. Go for another short drive hopefully it is better, if not well you may need to go to a shop. As I said ball park $1500
