rear end trouble

for some reason i have had to replace both leaf springs in my 94 ranger i dont know a lot about rear ends so  does anyone know how to  fix or solve my problem thanks

sometimes leaf springs just get old and crack and have to be replaced,when you set the rearend back down on the springs did you make sure the hole in the rearend plate sit in the studes on the springs.
