2014 Chevy impala oil change

I went to 3 different companies yesterday For an
oil change and nobody would change my oil With
just the standard oil change. I got turned away at
three different companies because I didn’t have
the money for a synthetic oil change? Where can I
go to get a standard oil change? And why are they
telling me I can’t put standard oil in my car?

The requirement is Dexos 1 and that is a synthetic blend, so according to the manufacture you cannot run multi-grade conventional oil, it must be at least a synthetic blend oil with the Dexos 1 rating, it will say so on the bottle. If your trying to save money, learn how to change the oil and filter yourself but make sure you use at least a synthetic blend with that rating, never use conventional oil.

Chevy specifies synthetic due to tighter tolerances in the engine. You can use regular oil but I do not recommend it. Try a synthetic blend if you can't afford full synthetic.
