My only concern is that i plan to go away to college and am concerned i wont have a car to get me to and from work in the summer. (my job is kinda far so bike isnt an option. My only concern with buying a used car tho id the repair cost because if i got a used car it would be a bmw. Any suggestions or ideas thanks

Wait until your legal age to purchase a car and then rethink this choice of vehicles, both of those have very matainance costs and the reliablity is not the best, although the lease will remove some of those concerns on the Jeep. Stay away from European makes as they all have very high cost of ownership, not only for repairs but insurance as well. Through the years GM products have been the cheapest to maintain, but some models have very high maintenance and insurance costs. Another option is some Asian vehicles, both Honda and Toyota have proven themselves through the years, reliablity and maintance costs are good, and most models have good rates on insurance coverage. Buy the coolest car you can and wing it- save being "sensible" for being old- hello
