Because they had so many problems the manufacturer had to buy them back.

Yes, avoid them like the plague!! They can also have problems that can't be fixed!! Years ago a friend bought a late model, at the time, Thunderbird that was branded a Lemon because of the brakes. No matter who worked on the brakes or what was done to the brakes the pedal was spongy and had excessive travel! He had it just long enough to pay for it then he traded it in. Of course because the vehicle was branded he got a much reduced trade in allowance. Hope that helps! Jim
