Hyundai Elantra 2017 won’t turn on

Asked by GuruHJ22H Aug 14, 2019 at 04:34 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Elantra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday, my Hyundai Elantra 2017
completely turned off when I tried to turn it
on with the ignition button. Whole car off.
Can’t turn on any lights and the key fobe
won’t work. Have to manually get inside the
car. Anyone ever seen this before cause this
is so bizarre. It doesn’t have that much miles
on it (~24,000) and didn’t leave the lights on.

I bought mine in the beginning of June and this week my key fob doesnt want to work in the mornings. So I had to pop the key out and unlock the door. But when I push the ignition button it turns on.
