Car not accelerating after stopping

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey,
I am having an issue with my car ( its 2012 model
but there is no 2012 model in the option.) whenever
i stop at light it hesitates to accelerate and even
though i fully press the acclerator the rpm does not
move. And the only way to make it move is to keep
pressing the accelerator or press the brake again
and the accelerator
I had  changed spark plug , brakes, oils , air filter
and air flow sensor.
Its much better than before after i changed the air
flow sensor
Now its normal 8/10 times and does not accelerate
2/10 I am a bit worried as this might effect my
engine.

This is delayed acceleration and is caused by the engine not getting sufficient power; fuel & air. The leading cause of this is a dirty or defective mass airflow sensor. Next, it could be a defective throttle position sensor or a problem with dirty/defective injectors. Next would be a failing fuel pump or something in that system, like the filter or fuel pressure regulator, or leaks in the air intake. You can unplug each sensor, one-by-one, and see if that causes the engine to run correctly. If it does, that is a defective sensor.
