Many have asked where the GS fuel filter was located and the answer has been-it does not have one. The pic listed shows the GS fuel filter. It is supposed to be a lifetime unit, but...............you know how that goes. Cost is from 19.00-43.00 depending on your relationship with your dealer. The sock is from 6.00-12.00. HELLO...It is located in the fuel tank under the rear seat and dissasembly of the fuel pump unit is required. Total labor is around 20 minutes if your familiar with tools. If your going to attempt this yourself, keep in mind that you will need all new o- rings(sold individually) and new sock clamp down. They are not included.
