Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The check engine keeps coming on after 100 miles or so then turns off for
about the same amount of miles. The code is P0171. After I put some fuel
injector cleaner it goes off. I do not drive the car much. Could it be that
water builds up in tank.  System too lean - bank 1 (cylinder number 1
denotes bank 1) I took it to Autozone, and the same code has come up in
the past few months.

the po171 takes two trip cycles to set , it is a lean condition , vacuum leaks, injector restriction , fuel filter, temp sensor the one for the comp. not the dash, mass air flow sensor, the heated o2 sensor for that bank, i doubt the injector cleaner would fix anything. okay because its only 1 bank we can rule out fuel filter, mass air, temp sensor. i would look for vacuum leak , o2 ,injector things just related to bank one. if i had to guess with out running proper test i would go after bank 1 sensor 1 o2
