Go to the Dollar store, and buy some gas tank additives, (Injector cleaner, carb cleaner, and additive for high mileage vehicle. Ad it to tank with it down to about 1/4 tank, and drive it till near empty...might help, it helps my 99 Lexus ES300. Or you can go to Auto Parts store and AC Delco sells a bottle for around $9, that's injector cleaner...do that, then use other types of cleaners till it runs better...try some premium gas...and maybe you got a batch of the bottom of the tank from gas station, and its got junk in it. If you ever are going to the gas station and the Gas Tanker is there filling the tanks...keep driving because the tanker dumps the fuel in big tanks, and that stir's up the crap at the bottom of the tank and then you put it into your car....just info for thought. I spent 25 years working in Vehicle Maintenance at the Postal Garage, and one of my job's was monitoring the fuel tanks...checking for water...It seems you may have a fuel issue, and check engine light should have coded something to give you a direction on what the problem is...good luck!
