How did you correct these problems?

Asked by Jul 09, 2018 at 11:44 AM about the 2001 Lexus RX 300

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Leaking around the windshield causing water in the floor boards when it
rains. Primarily the drivers side.  Everything worked on this vehicle prior to
the recent rains and leakage. Now it seems like fuses or a module has failed
and several things are not operating. Such as the fan and AC options. Three
of the power windows do not work and non of the power door locks. Now the
check engine light has come on.

The electrical plugs and modules probably got wet. Get the windshield seal replaced at an auto glass shop, they have to remove the windshield to reapply a new seal. Then dry out the car and all should be back to normal. Good luck.
