what all do i need to remove to get ac compressor off truck

To eliminate A/C instead of cost to repair? you need and idler pulley to take the place of A/C compressor pulley to keep serpentine belt in place properly. Just unhook lines, remove compressor, condenser, evaporator if you want to go to hassle, and get one of these: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search/Idler+Pulley/03307/C0328.oap?model=E-350+Super+Duty&vi=1433328&year=2006&make=Ford
