Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello,
I have had an issue with abs and trac off warning signals../ and sometimes
engine light..  I got alternater replaced and lights went off. Month later the
Trac off light remains on with engine light.. This has been on for 3days...
could some one inform me what this means for trac off and engine light to be
on at same time.. this morning trac off started blinking and abs light came on
while engine light remains on as well... I went to autozone and they ran
machine and stated warning code only reading engine light for gas
cap/emissions... please help.

Trac Off and ABS are related and most likely relate to speed sensors; they get dirty and reader clogs. I'm kind of familiar with Lexus and have a suggestion. Find the EFI fuse and pull it. Then crank the starter for a second without starting the engine. Replace EFI fuse and see if that cures the Trac & ABS problems within a few restarts. If this works, the CEL may go out too. If not, go to a car parts store and have codes read, probably free.
