Check engine light on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check  engine light came on,had it checked  by
Auto zone , I had 2 vacuum sensors replaced in the
front of the car,foll0wed with getting the charcoal  
canister replaced. About 6 weeks later the light
came back on, this time the car kicked out codes
surrounding  the Gas cap, which I replaced prior to
any Repair. What should be the next step? 2003
Lexus RD with 183223 miles

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GASSING YOUR CAR TO SHOT OF THE CAR COMPLETELY .THAT CAN TRIGER EVAP SYSTEM IN THE OLDER CARS COULD BE A HEADACHE. WHILE YOU DRIVE KEEP YOUR EYES ON ENGINE TEMPERATURE GAUGE.

The temperature gauge when tall the way up car started smoking vsc light came in read vsc off .. car started making very severe noice as if engine was falling apart Please help . Thank you

shut the car off. call your mechanic . you will need towing assistance
