Stop at an auto parts store and scan for fault codes. Then, based on that information, decide what the risk is, if any. Being such a new car, I would probably drive it on home.

Wrench light means "Service Engine Soon" My Fiesta has triggered that light only when it needs an oil change and it's joined by a message on the LCD display. Have you had your oil changed lately? The other day I was on a hurry so I told my GF to take the car to a Napa service center. The oil and filter was indeed new but the Wrench light came on, so I figured these guys didn't know how to reset the Oil service interval. Make sure to have that one reset every time you change oil. With the key turned on Accessory position just press both gas and brake pedals for about 10 seconds and you'll see the wrench light gone.

Check you owner's manual to see what that icon means. Or you could call a Ford dealership. Yellow colored icons mean caution, so keep driving, but have it checked out.

The problem I found was in the manual in warning lights/dashboard there is no mention of this "wrench" indicator and what it means. However has shown up related to oil changes and they reset and also with diagnostics being run-they may forget to reset or trip it-unsure. Anyway if u look in manual under oil change indicator light, it says as indicated in earlier response (turn key to on but dont start, press down accelerator and brake at same time and hold for 25 seconds, not 10 as stated in earlier response). It said various messages would pop up but I did not see any but light did reset. Yeah! No dealer trip and hopefully they would not charge you to run diagnostics or reset if you went to them???
