Auto Zone did a Diagnostic Test. Said it required a gas cap. Purchased an International one. Can this be used in a foreign car, or does it have to be the Toyota Patent one?
I would spend the extra $$ on something better , original equipment , it's better in the long run, don't buy cheap , see what the code was sometimes their crappy reader doesn't give an adequate description
The one from auto zone should be fine. Some critical parts u would buy original but not a gas cap
If the check engine light was on, and you got a fuel or EVAP code, it takes a few cycles for the light to go off.
