3.0 V6 Engine missing at slow speeds during early driving period.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Idles fine at warmup but misses at slow speeds for several miles until engine reaches full temp. or after driving for a while.  Seems to do fine when given more gas as in a quick takeoff.
(FYI I have changed the plugs and installed new wires to try to correct this problem, to no avail)  Help!
