Strange sound/ warranty question

Asked by Jul 12, 2019 at 10:39 AM about the 2015 Dodge Challenger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2015 5.7 L dodge challenger
makes a strange high-pitched
whining sound  after it first starts and
when it accelerates for the first time
but doesn’t do it after that. I started
my car with the remote yesterday and
I heard it sounded like it was coming
from one side of the exhaust any idea
what this could be? it is nothing close
to a ticking sound I’ve looked on
YouTube and I can’t find any videos
that shows the same sound being
made or Problem doesn’t affect the
running of the vehicle at all as far as I
can tell and I only hear it when car
starts and is first accelerating in i
Don’t hear it  again until I shut the car
down for a little bit and start it up and
go. I bought the car in March with
43,000 miles on it and I purchased a
home warranty through Dodge from
the engine and tranny for three years
or I can put up to 110,000 miles on it
I pay like $100 to Dr. Ball my fix wha I
bought the car in March with 43,000
miles on it and I purchased a home
warranty through Dodge for the
engine and tranny for three years or I
can put up to 110,000 miles on it.  I
was wondering if I  put new exhaust
on my car and have it straight piped
can that be bad for my car at all or
will it just make it sound really loud
and more aggressive like I would like
also I was wondering if I should wait
three years because it would void my
warranty or if I could go ahead and
do it?
