I am interested in a Lexus IS 250 F Sport model. I don't understand the difference in AWD versus the RWD which I assume means rear wheel drive. Can you explain these options as well as any other customization. I would prefer a 2015 +/- model. Thank you.
RWD is just that. The car is driven or gets it power from the Rear wheels. AWD means power can be sent to the front wheels via a driveshaft and front differential based on wheel slippage. Look up AWD on the internet for a more comprehensive explanation. So if you drive frequently in rain and snow and want added traction, then you would want to spend extra for the AWD. If it is handling and speed, go with the RWD. You can talk about the added options that come with the AWD model with your Lexus dealer.
