cant take off back lisence plate

It's not screwed onto the bumper on the hatchback version at least, not sure about sedan. There's a m6 plastic screw with flat head that screws into a round nut on the inner panel. The problem is the nut turns as the screw turns. Few options: 1. Remove interior trunk panels and hold back nut with grips and unscrew the screw (penetrant helps). 2: Drill out the old screws completely and, if the nut is ok still, replace the screws. 3: Snap the screw heads off and attach new plate with sticky fixers. 4: Drill out old screw and attach new plate with plastic drive pins/rivets of suitable diameter. It's a stupid design.
