Why won't the passenger back seat doors open from inside?

Question type: General

Just got our new 2015 Journey and the passenger back doors will not open from inside. Is this a child safety thing?  Is it something that can be turned off?

I just got my 2015 Journey yesterday and it's doing the same thing. The rear doors unlock but won't open from the inside. It's really frustrating. I can't figure it out. I looked all through the manual and online and haven't found anything about it... Did you figure yours out? 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroads

Just got 2015 Journey today. The way to fix rear door unlock feature is to open each door and turn white screw to unlock position. It should work just fine now. Don't feel to bad. I could not figure it out either. My wife went outside and got it in like 30 seconds. She had seen it on another car. Good luck. .

There is a child safety lock. Open the door and look on the door itself, like on the part that you can't see while door is closed. Hope that makes sense
