Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Kia Rio has some sort of alarm go off for 17 seconds  every time I turn it on and every time I remove the key after turning it off.  I bought it used and this didn't start until about 1 week after I started driving it. It has manual locks and no alarm system that I am aware of.  The only audible indicators in the manual are 7 seconds for lights, seatbelts or to remind that the key is in the ignition if the door is open, but it is none of these.  What could it be and how can I make it stop?

It may be a seat belt, alarm, one of the belt,s clip may be stuck, click all seat belt,s in and see if this stop,s that annoying beeping,if it doe,s not,the only other thing, is a light delay may be bad,and causing it,if you can,t find the issue, let it start beeping go under dash ,find it and unplug it,if you do not have alarm system in car.

I clicked all the seatbelts and it still happens. :( and whatever it is it goes off like five seconds after I remove the key and lasts 17 seconds. in addition to the 17 seconds that happens when I turn the car on. It still all works and no other indicator lights come on. Could it have an alarm I don't know about? If so, it isn't loud enough to be alarming and doesn't stop the car from going anywhere, so I am thinking it is more likely an indicator for something or a malfunction. Not sure.

It can .but it will need to be done by a pro,if not the car may not run.
