Gear shifter stuck on park

My gear shifter was pushed super hard
upwards and now its stuck on park how
do i move gears it wont let me switch gear

You may have broken the latch when it was put in that position. I think your car has a floor shift, you may need to open the console and manually unlock it from the PARK position. That button you push to move the lever may have broken inside the shifter lever
