Check your owner's manual. There's a maintenance schedule in there. With a Nissan you want to keep up on the maintenance. We have a '13 Frontier delivery truck at work with only 68,000 miles on it that needs an engine because it's been neglected! Personally I'd say you're overdue. But your owner's manual will tell you for sure. HTH. -Jim
time to change- since it's new just take it to the dealer- they will explain it all to you and give you receipts- keep all the receipts and you have proof that it has been maintained correctly-
If I had your Nissan I would use synthetic oil (at the recommended grade)and change it every 7,500 miles or 1 year whichever comes first. Also I would have the dealership do my service work and not some quick lube place. You get what you pay for.
