Traverse back up camera

Asked by Len Oct 07, 2017 at 09:30 PM about the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse

Question type: General

We recently purchased a 2015 Traverse.we
noticed objects in the  factory installed
back up camera are much closer then they
appear . Has anyone else noticed this?
Can anything be done about it

1 Answer

Suggest you put something on the ground (perhaps a water bottle) three feet behind your vehicle. Then, with the object (water bottle) in sight, on your back up camera monitor, place a strip of pin striping tape across the face of the monitor where the object appears. This will tell you when objects (vehicles) are within three feet of your back bumper.
