Did you ever find an answer to this? My car has just started doing the exact same thing (2015 Hyundai Elantra) and I can’t find any reasons online or in manuals. It doesn’t happen every time, but most. I’ve never been to this site before. If you have any info, would love to hear. You can email me at ari@jhu.edu - thanks!

Mine would be in a different series (can’t remember what) when the sunroof was slightly ajar, but now mine is doing the 5 beeps when I hit power off. Same: 2014 Hyundai Elantra

Mine started doing this. Changed the battery in the fob and it went away.

I just changed the battery in the fob and it still does it...hmm. Not every time, but enough for me to notice
