Water leak 95 grand cherokee

Does the water pump on this model have a hole to leak water from the pump when it
goes bad or is my leak coming from somewhere else? Hearing a little noise from the
pump too.

There is a weep hole in the water pump that coolant can leak out of when the water pump is going bad.
